The PL-8000 is a 1U rackmount networking and network security platform based on the Intel EP80579 Integrated Processor. The EP80579 is a System-on-a-Chip (SoC) processor that integrates CPU, North Bridge, South Bridge, and optional Intel; QuickAssist accelerator technology on a single chip. The PL-8000 platform offers five GbE Copper and a maximum of 8 GbE Ethernet ports via PCI-E by 1 or by 4 accessible on the front-panel. To prevent network problems when the platform shuts down, PL-8000 supports one segment of LAN bypass function through WDT and GPIO pin definitions...

The CoreModule; 430 proves that the venerable PC/104 ISA bus is still viable for years to come. The CoreModule; 430 combines a wealth of legacy I/O interfaces with on-board video, DDR2 RAM, USB 2.0 and 10/100 Ethernet on a single 90x96mm module. CoreModule; 430 drops directly into applications that use EOL CPUs, allowing system OEMs to continue to leverage their investments in enclosures, cables, software and certifications. For new designs, CoreModule; 430 also directly supports the vast ecosystem of proven PC/104 I/O cards. CoreModule; 430 offers a choice of 300MHz or 800MHz Vortex86 processors for Extreme Rugged; environments including temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, vibration up to 15Grms, and shock up to 50Grms. CoreModule; 430 offers 2D graphics with a TTL flat panel interface along with legacy CRT. CoreModule; 430 also touts a full 16-bit ISA bus and an Intel; Ethernet controller for consistent performance over temperature...

CryptoCompanion provides designers an affordable option for cryptographic hardware security on systems that are currently prone to firmware theft and/or product counterfeiting. CryptoCompanion, when used in conjunction with Atmel's CryptoMemory; chip, provides secure storage of the secrets necessary to authenticate consumable items or software IP. The combination of CryptoCompanion (host-side security) and CryptoMemory (client-side security) enables an embedded system security solution for less than a dollar in volume. CryptoCompanion provides host-side cryptographic security for embedded systems. Designers do not have to design or test the cryptographic algorithms. The companion chip implements the necessary algorithms and the entire protocol completely in hardware. The Aris+ AVR;-based demonstration kit serves as an easy to use, comprehensive tool for development activities. The kit is suitable for low volume personalization of the CryptoCompanion and CryptoMemory chips for fast prototyping of embedded security solutions....
