Maxim2051

The MAX2051 Designed specifically for multicarrier cable head-end downstream video, cable modem termination systems (CMTS), video-on-demand and DOCSIS®-compliant edge QAM modulation, and wireless-infrastructure applications. The MAX2051 delivers an unparalleled combination of linearity and spurious suppression over an exceptionally wide IF bandwidth of 50MHz to 1000MHz. The MAX2051 delivers equally impressive performance with 33.4dBm of IIP3, a low conversion loss of only 7.5dB, and better than 61dBc of LO ±2IF and 78dBc of LO ±3IF suppression. This device is ideal for all point-to-point and point-to-multipoint microwave and fixed broadband wireless-access base-station applications, which require first IF to second IF upconversion stages covering the 850MHz to 1550MHz band...

Vishay Intertechnology Releases ACAS 0606 AT, ACAS AT Series of Precision Thin Film Chip Resistor Arrays with Extends Power Rating

By pur, at Monday, June 1st, 2009, in Automotive, Vehicle, IC, Chip, SoC, Industrial
Thin-Film-Chip-Resistor-Array

The ACAS 0606 AT resistor array offers a high film temperature of + 155 °C, a maximum power dissipation rating of 0.125 W per resistor, and is AEC-Q200 qualified. The high power rating, superior moisture resistivity of < 0.5 % (85 °C, 85 % RH; 1000 h), and 1000-V ESD capability of the ACAS 0606 AT allow the device to meet automotive requirements while offering highly stable performance for industrial, telecommunication, and consumer electronics. The ACAS 0606 AT resistor array offers defined tolerance matching down to 0.1 % (equivalent to ± 0.05 %) and TCR tracking down to 10 ppm/K (equivalent to ± 5 ppm/K), making it ideally suited for precision analog circuit, voltage divider, feedback circuit, and signal conditioning applications that require extraordinarily stable fixed resistor ratios...

MediaTek Announces MT7110 , Three Second Generation IEEE 802.16e WiMAX Chips

By pur, at Monday, June 1st, 2009, in IC, Chip, SoC, Networking
MT7110-Series-WiMAX-SoC

The MT7110 series are fully compliant with, and provide more features and performance than WiMAX Forum Wave2 specifications. These chips are intended to revolutionalize the market and take the industry to the next level of mass market adoption. The MT7110 series are based on the first generation chips that have gone through rigorous IOT testing and field trials. Operators want to use only field proven silicon and solutions. The MT7110 series offer not only performance, but track record of success in operators’ networks...

Cavium Networks Announces Comprehensive netHD Wi-Fi Reference Design

By pur, at Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009, in Communication, Networking, Reference Design

The netHD Wi-Fi reference design delivers 1080p60 quality and sub-frame latency video using standards-based H.264 video compression along with standards-based 802.11n Wi-Fi technology for in-room or multi-room delivery through walls. This reference design incorporates HDCP 2.0 (High Definition Content Protection) protocol and supports the industry standard DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) protocol. The netHD Wi-Fi reference design can be used by consumer electronic manufacturers, service providers, gaming console vendors, media PC and after market gateway and HDMI cable replacement vendors to introduce systems that deliver full HD 1080p60 quality in-home video distribution to a single or multiple flat panel displays within the home. The netHD Wi-Fi reference design provides a cost effective, ready-to-use and feature rich development platform to build next generation in-home wireless video distribution systems...
