Avago Technologies Introduces ACPF-7024 and ACPF-7025, ISM and WiMAX Bandpass Filter for 4G WiMAX/LTE and WiFi/Bluetooth

The Avago ACPF-7024 and ACPF-7025 are a pair of highly selective bandpass filters that enable cellular phones to offer simultaneous operation of next generation 4G WiMAX/LTE voice communications and WiFi/Bluetooth data networks without compromising either voice or data quality of service.

ACPF-7024 solves the problem of designing an enabling simultaneous WiFi and / or Bluetooth ® with other wireless standards such as 2.5 GHz WiMAX, PCS, and LTE Bands 7 and 40 without sacrificing performance due to interference from nearby radio. ACPF-7024 is 2400-2482 MHz, WiFi / Bluetooth bandpass filter is designed for use in the range of 2.4 GHz ISM1 band and contains more than 40 dB attenuation for the interfering signals.

Avago’s ACPF-7025 is a miniature 2496 – 2690 MHz WiMAX band-pass filter. ACPF-7025 enables WiMAX Transceiver to coexist and work together with WiFi and / or Bluetooth transmitters. Cell Band rejection is 60 dB; PCS 43 dB rejection band, and WiFi / WLAN / Bluetooth rejection is 43 dB.

Both ACPF-7024 and ACPF-7025 using Avago Technologies’ own film bulk acoustic resonators (FBAR) technology, which makes ultra-small, high-Q filters to allow part of their normal size. By using advanced Microcap Avago in coupled-wafer chip scale packaging and proprietary technologies filter FBAR, ACPF and ACPF-7025-7024 modules assembled in a molded chip-on-board with the compact size 2,5 x 2,5 mm and 2,0 x 1, 6 mm, respectively.
