The MAX11600-MAX11617 are multichannel ADCs with an internal voltage reference and available in 188ksps, 8-bit (MAX11600-05) and 94.4ksps, 10-/12-bit (MAX11606-17) configurations. The family of ADCs provides designers with the most flexibility in selecting resolution, channel count (4/8/12), supply voltage (2.7V to 3.6V/4.5V to 5.5V), and reference voltage (2.048V/4.096V). All devices in this family are software configurable to support either unipolar or bipolar inputs, as well as single-ended or differential operation. Pin compatibility between many of the devices allows designers to change resolution and channel count without redesigning their board or control software. The MAX11600-17 are ideal for automotive designs, portable/battery-powered electronics, solar-powered systems, and system-monitoring applications. This family of ADCs also provides impressive low-power operation, consuming as little as 350µA at 188ksps or 8µA at data rates of 10ksps or less. AutoShutdown™ technology powers down the ADCs between conversions, reducing supply current to less than 1µA at low throughput rates…
