The Curtiss Wright VPX6-1952 is based on the latest processor technology available from Intel, the Intel Penryn processor (on the Montevina platform). The VPX6-1952 equipped with a rich I/O complement including dual SERDES Gigabit Ethernet, Integrated Platform Management Interfaces (IPMI), GPIO, Serial channels, USB ports and an XMC site. the VPX6-1952 employs the open architecture VITA 46 (VPX) standard.
