Ralink Technology Corporation announces the RT3562, RT3572 and RT3592, complete line of dual band, 2-stream IEEE 802.11n solutions, for embedded multimedia applications as well as PCs, notebooks, and broadband gateways. This family of products integrates a CMOS RF front-end, media access controller (MAC), baseband processor (BBP) and host interface into a single chip that fully complies with IEEE 802.11n draft 7.0 and IEEE 802.11a/b/g standards. The RT35×2 series provide reliable wireless connectivity and extended wireless coverage with industry-leading throughput and low power consumption. The RT35×2 series enable operations of connected multimedia devices in the 5GHz band, where lower interference results in higher throughput, while leaving data-centric networking devices operate in the 2.4GHz band at the same time…
