SYNERCHIP Announces SCP1800, SCP1801 and SCP1803, the World’s First Transmitter and Receiver ICs with Digital Interactive Interface for Video & Audio (DiiVA) Specification

-The SCP1800™ is a DiiVA™ Receiver IC designed for Digital Televisions (DTVs) compliant with
the DiiVA specification. Through a single DiiVA port, DTVs simultaneously:

  • Receive uncompressed audio and high-definition video (including 3D)
  • Transmit data including Ethernet, USB, commands and content protection
  • Send power

The SCP1800 features one DiiVA input port, four USB ports (1 upstream and 3 downstream), two Ethernet MII/RMII interfaces, one HDMI output and Audio input with S/PDIF and I2S.

-The SCP1801™ is a DiiVA™ Transmitter IC designed for digital sources compliant with the DiiVA specification. Through a single DiiVA port, sources simultaneously:

  • Send uncompressed audio and high-definition video (including 3D)
  • Transmit data including Ethernet, USB, commands and content protection
  • Receive power to enable DiiVA PHY even when rest of source device is in standby mode

The SCP1801 features one DiiVA output port, four USB ports (3 upstream and 1 downstream),
two Ethernet MII/RMII interfaces, one HDMI input and Audio output with S/PDIF and I2S.

-The SCP1803™ is a DiiVA™ Daisy Chain Transmitter IC designed for digital sources compliant with the DiiVA specification. Through a single DiiVA port, sources simultaneously:

  • Send uncompressed audio and high-definition video (including 3D)
  • Transmit data including Ethernet, USB, commands and content protection
  • Receive power to enable DiiVA PHY even when rest of source device is in standby mode

DiiVA Daisy Chain transmitters have the capability of cascading multiple DiiVA sources to a single DiiVA receiver port. The SCP1803 features one DiiVA output port, one DiiVA input port, four USB ports (3 upstream
and 1 downstream), two Ethernet MII/RMII interfaces, one HDMI input and Audio output with S/PDIF and I2S.
